Inspection revealed, that "axis2-adb-codegen-1.7.0-20131101.013910-1722"
references to "axis2-parent-1.7.0-SNAPSHOT", what indeed doesn't define
"xmlschema-core" in its dependency management. However
"axis2-parent-1.7.0-20131101.013314-1774" does that.
In this case, maven simply failed to update parent project and deleting
"axis2-parent" from local repository resolved the issue.
