   Thanks for your comments.

We have upgraded to httpclient 4.x - httpcore-4.4.4.jar  & httpclient-4.5.2.jar 
are present in the WAR and the configuration you mentioned in the below mail is 
also present in axis2.xml.

But still we are getting "Attempt Read on closed stream" Error.

We have not removed commons-httpclient 3.1 version as this is internally used 
by our apps.

Should we remove common-httpclient 3.1 and use httpclient/core 4.x version?
