Yes this is a known issue as I ran into it myself a few weeks ago. I never used the OSGI part of Axis2, but anyways we are planning a release around the end of this year and we'll definitely update these deps.
In the meantime, we switched to Github earlier this year - see below. Feel free to suggest a patch to fix the issue. Otherwise I'll get to it at some point soon. git clone https://github.com/apache/axis-axis2-java-core.git Robert On Thu, Oct 1, 2020 at 4:32 AM Jipa, Alexandru-Stefan < alexandrustefan.j...@finastra.com> wrote: > Hi, > > > > We are trying to upgrade xalan and commons fileupload to the latest > version, so we are trying to make a custom > > Axis2 (from 1.7.9) until it will be released a new axis2, but we encounter > some problems generated by the commons fileupload 1.4. > > First of all we cant compile axis2 1.7.9 with Maven 2 (how is written in > README, so is it outdated?), but it worked with Maven 3, > > how it was reported in the error.
