Robert Lazarski commented on RAMPART-442: ----------------------------------------- For the client, you can set the encoding via the Options class param CHARACTER_SET_ENCODING. For the server, the encoding seems to be set on the MessageContext - so, that usually comes from the application server configuration. Note that Java supports the param: -Dfile.encoding=UTF8 I am going to mark this as "Not a Problem" though if you think there is a specific place in the Axis2 or Rampart code can be improved let us know and we can reopen the issue. > Help ASAP > --------- > > Key: RAMPART-442 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RAMPART-442 > Project: Rampart > Issue Type: Question > Components: rampart-core > Environment: every > Reporter: Joanes Pavulonus > Assignee: Robert Lazarski > Priority: Critical > Fix For: 1.8.0 > > > Hi, > is this possible to set encoding inside rampart configuration? > At this moment we've got default encoding of ISO-8859-1 but we need UTF-8. > Grets. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: java-dev-unsubscr...@axis.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: java-dev-h...@axis.apache.org
