Hello, The development has nearly completed, and the main focus now is fixing open Jira issues that are not related to Jakarta.
Because we are an open source project, any Axis2 user can help speed up this process by testing our latest code. https://github.com/apache/axis-axis2-java-core Compiling ws-axiom is a required first step: https://github.com/apache/ws-axiom There will be minimal changes from now until the release - specifically, just some bug fixing on a few corner case issues. Nearly everyone at Apache is a volunteer and it is nearly impossible to give an accurate ETA. Many people are anxious, so we can say it will be soon. The holidays are an extra challenge, because Apache projects require having at least 3 votes to release.
