Around one year ago, I made a Berkeley DB JE implementation of a Lucene
Directory. I was initially inspired by the Andi Vajda code.
I released it under an Apache License but didn't publicize it.
Lately I have read there is some talks about DB JE base directories so if
someone is interested you can find the code at

Aaron Donovan's implementation seems to be closer to the original Andi code .
I think that my implementation uses higher level DB JE objects, like
StoredClassCatalog, JE Map implementation and so on.
I would be interested by a comparison between the two implementations.
