Chris, I'm not sure if Apache INFRA people will do this for us, but we can ask, if we want this behaviour .... here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-726
I was actually hoping for bounces as a way to get people to move over to @lucene lists. Very few people use those @jakarta lists, and I just wanted to clean things up. Doug, please update https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-726 if you don't want the lists to be just removed. I'd personally just email the -user list, say the @jakarta lists will be removed, and then get INFRA to remove them. I : moderate in a fair number of these sorts of messages, but I also : reject recurring ones and request the sender sign up. Perhaps the best course of action would be to keep the jakarta addresses in existence, remove the existing forwards to the new addresses, and change the "you must be subscribed" and "thank you for subscribing" auto replies to say "this list has been replaced by _____ please subscribe to it". ? -Hoss --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
