Hello all, I wrote some lines on the gdata protocol query which says that updated and author are mandatory fields and they should be available for searching. Well the lucene gdata server allows the admin to configure all the fields. Now the question, would you hard code these fields to the code to be definitely available or should i just mention that on the documentation that something would not work like described in the protocol if the configuration for this field is removed?! The server runs without that, eg he don't care the only thing what happens is that the query would be ignored.
