Right, I thought briefly about that one, but in the end wasn't sure how to handle it. Having the SpanFilterResult change is no big deal, btw, at least not until it is officially released. I would be fine w/ putting a note saying this is experimental and subject to change.

Ok, I missed that possible use as a Filter. I'm busy with LUCENE-584, and I could not figure out how to deal with this one. Since it is a Filter, I'll include it in there as one of the currently present Filters.
