The current plan is to branch tomorrow, freeze the branch for ~10 days, and
then release 2.4. If we can get a patch that works here say in the next few
days we might be able to get it into 2.4?
If/when we do 2.4.1 we could probably backport this into that as well (since
it's a small change).
