Do you know http://commons.apache.org/compress/ ?
It is a commons project that replicates the internals from ANT and othe
projects for general usage. It is not yet released, but available as snapshot
jars. TIKA uses it, too. It also contains BZIPInputStream. I would prefer this
instead of polluting the classpath with a full ant distribution.
