here is a rough patch, that merges BytesRef/UnicodeUtil
* added a fn to UnicodeUtil that computes the hash as it encodes, for termshash
* when doing utf16->utf8 conversion, remove an if for every character by simple
allocating utf16*4
* some method signatures were generalized from String -> CharSequence (i.e. so
you could create a BytesRef from a StringBuilder if you want)
there are some breaks (e.g. binary api compat), but its an internal api.
