Hey! I wonder if you have any GUI testing tool which you prefer
most..? I have to test GUI of large application written in Java and I
am confused about existing software. I need freeware application which
allows to record and replay tests.
Ability to record test is most important because in such a large
project preparing scripts for every action takes to much time.

Inteface is based on Swing. I want to record-replay test, check
correctness of records in Oracle database, it would be great to have
XML friendly application which for example records tests in XML
format. I would like to save a screen shot in case of exception or
download a log from the server. Or just to add my own functionality by
loading my own class for example. I have tried to write this by my own
using Jemmy library and XML as the config files but as I see there
exist some applications which I can use.. The question is - which one?
What do you think about such solutions like Abbot, Pounder, TestNow or
Fitnesse ? Did it work for you? Thanks fo any help..
