hi team, i need to know about the best sorting technique used in java.
Statement: There will be a sort link that is visible for the client. When he clicks it(say sort on Name) it should sort on name.Suppose he has around 1000 records, the sorting technique should be efficient so that it should not take much time on sorting. One more thing i heard is sorting at database end, is it a good idea, give how do i proceed with this if it is a good idea.
