Hi All, Thanks for all the replies :-)
Solved this last night, so here is the solution for anyone who has the same trouble... Glassfish 2.1 comes bundled with Java EE 5 SDK , so all I had to do was provide path to installation directory of SDK e.g. C:\Sun\SDK and that was it. I was wasting time looking for a dedicated Glassfish directory (I am from an Eclipse & Tomcat background) so wasn't aware of this. Thanks again On Mar 3, 10:42 am, Biljana Biljana <biljana_b...@yahoo.com> wrote: > Hi hog! > To use Glass Fish like server you have to set some system variables: > Path, which you edit and add path where you installed JSDK on your computer, > JAVA_HOME path where you installed jdk or beter jsdk > and J2EE_HOME path for folder where you are installed J2EE server which is > in your example, and my, Glass Fish, you can find easy that is the folder > where is unistal program for Glass Fish. > Set this variables and try.In this I am not sure. > > But the trouble is maybe whit instalacion NetBean IDE, maybe you just don't > instal Glass Fish, you just missed to check this option when you instal > NetBean IDE, try unistal, and start installation program again this time > check everything this will be usefful to you later > > --- On Tue, 3/3/09, James Boswell <boswell_ja...@hotmail.com> wrote: > > From: James Boswell <boswell_ja...@hotmail.com> > Subject: [java ee programming] Re: Setup of Glassfish in Netbeans 6.5 > To: hoggjus...@googlemail.com, > java-ee-j2ee-programming-with-passion@googlegroups.com > Date: Tuesday, March 3, 2009, 1:26 AM > > #yiv2103091199 .hmmessage P > { > margin:0px;padding:0px;} > #yiv2103091199 { > font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;} > > Hi, > > When exactly do you receive this error message?
