I am going through the Advanced Struts notes where plugin's are discussed. I am not sure why the things which are discussed as getting done in init() and destroy() method of the plugin's(like initializing and closing the application wide database) cannot be done using contextListeners. I think I am missing something. Any idea's, comments would be appreciated
