Hello There, To know about servers you just go Tools --> Servers You just see at Domains Folder:
1) For On/Off Glassfish v2.1, go to: INSTALL_ROOT\Sun\AppServer\bin > For The Logging: Go to: INSTALL_ROOT\Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\logs and take a look at "jvm.log" and "server.log" as well. 2) For On/Off Glassfish v3 Prelude, go to: INSTALL_ROOT\Programs Files\sges-v3-prelude\glassfish\bin > For The Logging: Go to: INSTALL_ROOT\Programs Files\sges-v3-prelude\glassfish\domains\domain1\logs and take a look at "jvm.log" and "server.log" as well. I fortly recommend you please download Tomcat and Add it into NetBeans as a third choice. I feel fine with Glassfish v2. For Dr. Sang's Lecture this is what I respectfully recommend since their examples and lectures are based on it.
