You have to look for the "mysql-connector-java-3.0.17-ga-bin.jar" on the internet, you have the link at the bottom. It is the jar that you have to put in the /lib directory of your project It will tell your application how to reach the MySQL server. http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/5.1.html
