I dont remember well, and rigth now I dont see the reason for the server asking you for admin credentials. But anyway, did you try the password as 'adminadmin'. As I remember when installing Netbeans, configuring a simple project and making it run, the credentials were (username: admin, password: adminadmin). Maybe you should also check by starting the server using their commands to do so, then accessing the homepage for the administrator, and entering credentials.
