Hi John,
I have tried to reproduce your steps and have installed Tomcat via
netbeans-6.8-ml-windows.exe. I selected ONLY Tomcat so that the rest of
my Netbeans 6.8 installation with GlassFish v3 would not be overwritten.
Afterwards I added the server in Netbeans 6.8 under services -> server
with add server (or likely, I use the german version). If you need help
with that, just ask for the specific steps.
I could not reproduce your problem, but maybe it's because you have the
tomcat running. You can't run both tomcat and glassfish on a single
machine without further modifications. I did not get your error message
but a server address blocked error message, so that might be a similar
problem.
I hope that helps you with your problem, just try to run only a single
server. Otherwise, a full uninstall and reinstall of the netbeans
package might help.
Cheers

Hi All
I installed netneans IDE 6.8 GlassFish v3 Domain was automatically
installed. Everything was fine until I installed Tomcat from
netbeans-6.8-ml-java-windows.exe file.
I had to install Tomcat to go thru LAB-4002 Exercise 2.
After I installed Tomcat, I restarted the netbeans, but GlassFish
would not restart. It gave following error in server log
Could not create the Java virtual machine.
Unrecognized VM option '+UnlockDiagnosticVMOptio'
Please help.
