Below are the details.* Title: Finance Consultant (telecom) Project Status: 6 Months Type: contract Location: ATLANTA, GA Job#239 *Project Description:* (What project will the contractor be working on?) International Routing and Cost Management *Job Description:* (What will the contractor do on that project?) Assist in the day to day operations of the Least Cost Routing function - routing approximately 100M minutes per month of Southeast originating international traffic, while balancing Quality and Cost of Goods Sold. • Perform daily routing for 500+ destinations in two Route Classes • Manage overall Cost of Goods Sold for the international retail traffic • Proactively manage daily call quality, making routing changes as needed • issue trouble tickets and notify buyers/vendors of problem routes • input rate changes daily from vendors and upload into the routing system • assist Finance with monthly invoice reconciliation and any disputes • monitor and manage vendor dialed digits to ensure alignment with industry and routing • develop ongoing business processes and system enhancements • daily trouble ticket support • create monthly reports Minimum Job Requirements: A minimum of five years overall telecommunications experience with a solid understanding of the relationship between dialing plans, network routing and cost. Systems requirements experience and an understanding of call detail record processing is preferred. A BS is required, major in Finance or International Business is desired. Strong financial and negotiating skills are essential.
