JOB DESCRIPTION

Required Technical and Business Skills

Project Overview and Reason for Resource need:



Ongoing project requires additional technical resources capable of assisting
with our Fleet Production Support Team. The selected individual will join
our group and primarily support the Operations and Inventory Management
Application. This main software in this application is IBMs Maximo
Enterprise Asset Management software. The purpose of the application is to
provide work order creation, work management, inventory and materials
management business processes for our many organizations.

Members of our existing production support staff are being transferred to
another mission critical initiative for our partner organization. This
individual will be backfilling for existing staff. The primary function of
this resource is to perform software development activities including
technical design and delivery of solutions ensuring we fulfill the
functional requirements for operations and inventory management.



Functional Responsibilities:



1. Contribute to the technical delivery of Maximo 6 functionality for our
customers

2. Facilitating and participating in user meetings/discussions to confirm
and refine technical designs

3. Documenting Maximo design

4. Understanding of and assisting with Maximo development and configuration
particularly field controls, work flows and escalations

5. Resolving application issues and determining reasonable approaches to
address them.

6. Identify and address application performance and integration issues

7. Understanding security profile & groups adding and removing application
functionality

8. Maintain / upgrade Maximo environments:

9. Regression testing of patches and hotfixes

10. Use Maximo Application Designer, Field Controls, etc.

11. Understand CEs instance strategy

12. Performance and Systems monitoring Software migrations

13. Change Control and change management

14. Interact with business users to provide guidance on the use of Maximo
functionality

15. Collaborate with internal Support Center

16. Developing and maintaining custom interfaces using TIBCO

17. Developing and maintaining MEA queues and rules


Technical and Functional Experience:



1. Technical: 2-3 years experience in a development environment including,
but not limited to:



    a.  Maximo version 6 experience (or certification)

    b. . Extensive experience in a position involving technical design,
applications

         development and/or systems integration projects with Maximo

    c.  Configuration and integration experience using Maximo version 6

    d.  Analysis/Design/Development experience demonstrating value-added

         achievements

     e.  Experience in use of the Maximo Enterprise Adapter (MEA)

     f. Experience with Actuate Report design and deployment

     g. Familiarity with the implications associated with a Single
Org/Multi-Site

         configuration

      h. Experience with SQL (Oracle and Microsoft)

       i. Experience with PL/SQL

       j. Ability to develop, unit test interface components as required.

       k. Excellent knowledge of or prior experience demonstrating the
ability to

           create interfaces; experience with TIBCO is preferred.

        l. Ability to tune SQL for performance.

1. Works well in a team environment including internal resources and
systems

    integrators

 2. Excellent listening skills

 3. Requires minimal supervision



Education/Experience:

1. Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related
discipline or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.


2. Minimum 4 years related technology experience.

3. At least 4 years of related experience in a corporation of comparable
size and complexity, including at least 2 years specialized experience in
related field

Preferred Skills: Would differentiate our candidates        Additional
skills that will differentiate our candidate:

1. Knowledge of, or work experience in the Energy/Utilities industry
especially Asset Management

2. Experience interfacing with Oracle Financials 11i Inventory and
Purchasing modules
