*SCOPE OF SERVICES Data Analyst/Report Developer *Responsibilities will
include:
Collaborate closely with the business Project
Managers to understand business needs, processes and data sources;
Translate these business needs into clearly defined
and documented detailed requirements i.e. Data Dictionary and database
schema;
Work with project managers to obtain consensus and
signoff on requirements deliverables;
Provide subject matter expertise to the team
throughout the project.
Create custom reports using Crystal Reports 12 based
on user requirements.
*MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE **Note: candidates who do not have the
mandatory skills will not be considered. *The preferred candidate must
possess:
Excellent skills extracting system meta-data, using
MS Visio, into schematic charts illustrating a database structure: table
names, PK-FK relationships, column names and data types.
2+ years experience as a Data Analyst with at least
3 years work experience desired;
Experience in performing business analysis tasks on
large systems integration projects for mission critical processes is
desired;
Four or more examples of SQL query production code.
Proven experience in defining requirements for
solutions in multiple-entity environments (multiple agencies, business
partners, etc.);
Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis
methodologies; Working knowledge of business analysis documentation
standards;
Experience using database and reporting tools
including Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and Crystal Report 12;
Experience using GIS ESRI geo-processing tools
including ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server;
Excellent oral and written communication skills and
the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders;
must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical
resources;
Must be able to take strategic direction from
executive management and participate in strategic planning activities
throughout the lifetime of the project;
Must be able to see tasks through to completion
without significant guidance.
*DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE *All candidates would ideally have experience
in:
Tree/forestry management or
An integrated asset management solution (inventory +
work management)
