If you are available now and are seeking a contract or contract to hire position, please send a response via email immediately with your current resume, availability, W-2 or C2C and rate requirements and I or someone on my staff will give you a call. ** The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks: - Assist with day-to-day management of the LAN/WAN networks according to industry best practices and standards. - Provide liaison support to the DataCom Manager and staff with WAN carrier, service providers, and internal organizations. - Monitor LAN/WAN traffic, utilizing existing monitoring tools. Maintain functionality of these tools. Analyze and report abnormal findings immediately to DataCom manager and staff with recommendations. - Identify and assist with ongoing training (knowledge transfer) required for DataCom staff in regards to LAN/ WAN network optimization. Make recommendations as needed. - Develop and maintain necessary documentation, including procedures. - Provide technical proposal reviews and document comments as required - Provide technical support and guidance to DataCom Manager, DataCom staff, and act as technical specialist to DataCom customers. - Assist with design, implementation, testing, and issue resolution regarding LAN/WAN components. - Provide network diagrams and appropriate documentation identifying the physical and logical network paths and connections. - Provide a migration strategy to minimize or alleviate risk, where appropriate. The incumbent must have a minimum 5 years of experience providing the services above and possess the following technical certifications: *· Cisco CCNA* *· Cisco CCDA* *· Cisco CCDP* *· Cisco CCNP* __________________________________________________________________________________________ Position# 2: *System Administrator* ** We currently have a *System Administrator *contract position in Columbus, OH *. * The contract rates are open and the job descriptions and skill base are expressed below. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assembles and configures network components and associated services. Sets up and maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware. Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems. Upgrades network hardware and software components as required. Installs, upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services. Provides users with network technical support. Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources. Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.
