Short Description: Systems Engineer will be responsible for identifying and documenting detailed product requirements for an Application Services Gateway. Complete Description: Systems Engineer will be responsible for the identification and documentation of detailed system level requirements for an Application Services Gateway hosting the following applications: Application Performance Monitoring Analytics Application QoS Application Filtering This position requires detailed knowledge of high speed, distributed system level architectures including data path, control plane and management application requirements: Ethernet (LAG / LACP / VLAN) IP (IPv4 / IPv6 / IP-IP tunneling, IGPs) Redundancy schemes (Interface / Control) Traffic Management Schemes (classification / queuing / scheduling / policing) Encryption (IPSec / SSL) RMON / APM Monitoring Element Management (User Interface / SNMPv3) The candidate would ideally already have direct experience doing detailed systems planning on Application Monitoring, DPI or Analytics products. The work product of this position will be a detailed System Requirements Document.
