Activities include programming in RPG and SQL. Work will include designing, coding, reporting, testing, debugging, and documenting programs in conjunction with county programmers. Ability to collect, analyze, and evaluate business requirements Communicate orally and in writing to customer, IT staff and management. Understand the customer’s business and decision support needs. Examine requirements documents and create technical design documents, unit test, system test, user acceptance test, and implementation plans for project. Develop and implement moderate to highly complex technical and business solutions in conjunction with EMR vendor. Perform quality assurance duties as required. Assist in the resolution of program performance issues. Function as high level technical senior analyst as well as technical lead to Project Manager. Knowledge and Abilities
Mandatory: Minimum of 10 years of high level architectural work documented in resume with solid references. Minimum of 10 years experience programming in ILE RPG IV embedded and dynamic SQL in the IBM iSeries Health Level 7 Protocols Microsoft Biztalk 2006 server mapping/orchestration and MSMQ Knowledge and 5 years experience working with accounting systems Knowledge and 5 years experience working with medical systems Experience in implementing an EMR system Experience assisting end users. Experience with the software lifecycle. Strong Analytical ability. Ability to listen and understand instructions. Ability to keep calm and focused under stress. Ability to function as a team player.
