Job Title: RED HAT LINUX CLUSTER AND BLADE CENTER SAN STORAGE RESOURCE Location: Branchburg,NJ Duration: 5 Month Must be local Required Skills Red Hat Linux Cluster Blade Center San Storage NAS gateways Oracle Linux Performance Tuning Project Details: Support of Linux cluster at client's data center in Southlake Texas (near DFW airport). Requires personnel to live within proximity of this location. The work to be performed as a part of the Services includes the following for the production environment: 1. System operations and maintenance 2. Proactive problem identification and avoidance 3. Reactive problem management (issue detection and resolution) 4. System/application performance monitoring 5. System Application optimization 6. Coordination with core application suppliers The system is to consist of the following: 1. Blade Center H (with Cisco Gigabit fiber network modules) & Blade server JS21 X series 3755 2. DS8300 San Storage 3. NAS gateways 4. TotalStorage SAN switches 5. Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS Use customer-provided tools and processes. SLAs with penalties for 30 minute response and 99.999% availability 7 X 24. Primary Role: Server Specialist Primary Skill Set: Linux - Clusters Secondary Skill Sets: Oracle Database; Performance and Capacity Management; Performance Tuning; Storage There is a requirement for some scheduled after hours work, but not scheduled off shift. This will be full time (45 hours / week). REQUIRED SKILLS: The Red Hat Linux Cluster and Blade Center are the MOST IMPORTANT of the skills (along with SAN Storage). We can review candidates with a close approximate match. Primary Skill: Linux Cluster Server Secondary Skill: Oracle db, Performance & Capability Mgmt, Performance Tuning, and Storage.
