Job Title: SharePoint 2007 Developer/Administrator Location: Columbus,OH Duration: 6+Months Will require in person interview in Columbus
Justification: On an annual basis, Local Client Departments (LCD's) are required to submit a financial report to the Client. This report details the source of all revenue coming into the LCD, all expenditures broken down by program area and the number of full/part time FTE's (Full Time Equivalents) employed by the LCD. The Client has identified a need for a senior developer in Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 (MOSS) to enhance the Annual Finical Reporting (AFR) project for the Local Client Department (LCD). Currently Client is collection the new requirements for the upcoming reporting period. The new reporting period will start in spring 2010 so the enhancements must be completed by Jan./Feb. 2010. Qualifications: The developer must have at least two years experience in developing SharePoint 2007 applications and understand the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The candidate must have experience with administering SharePoint 2007 sites. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work within deadlines. This position requires the ability to deeply understand, develop and document granular business issues. This candidate should be a self-sufficient and highly effective at managing time and be able to be an effective team player. The selected candidate must have proven experience in the following areas: Utilize Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 and WSS 3.0 in developing custom Web Parts and related coding techniques, best practices, and feature deployment, and WSS 3.0 object models Integration of complex data sources into MOSS Develop InfoPath forms connected to backend SQL databases and SharePoint lists. Experience with all project life cycle phases (define, design, develop, deploy, support) Ability to troubleshoot and research potentially difficult SharePoint challenges. Utilize AJAX and Enterprise Portals Must have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, XML, XSLT, CSS and Schema manipulation Develops C# .NET middle tier objects such as data access, business logic layers, etc. Develops in Microsoft Framework 3.5 Develops presentation tier elements using ASP.NET Design and interpret UML, Class, Use Case and Sequence diagram Writes data access code that interfaces to a SQL Server 2005/2008 database Writes SQL stored procedures Write reports utilizing SQL reporting Participates and/or lead code review sessions Documents software through detailed source code comments Assist and mentor State staff .Net web and SharePoint developers and administrators Tests .NET architected systems Be able to work independently with minimum supervision Abide by and promote project development standards ------------------------------------------------------ Thanks and Regards, Gourav Jaiswal | Technical Recruiter CAT Technology Inc.
