Job description *Role: Business Analyst* Duration: 6 months Location: Chicago Qualifications 8 years experience 4+ years experience in systems analysis in developing new and replacement application projects 4+ years experience gathering and developing detailed functional requirements for OO multi-tier applications Experience designing and facilitating solution-envisioning sessions Experience with iterative development methodologies, preferably Agile Knowledge of a testing methodology and/or experience in testing (system, unit, integration, interface) Understanding of data modeling, object modeling, and OO design principles Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills In addition, experience leading process improvement efforts is very valuable, as is experience with customer-facing websites. Strong understanding of capabilities and limitations of programming languages, middleware solutions, application servers and presentation layer tools is a plus, but not required.
