We are having an Urgent requirement of a Veritas and Clustering Specialist with our client in Anywhere in USA.** Please go through the specifications of the project and let me know if you have consultants available for this profile. *Location:* Anywhere in USA *Duration:* 18 months *# of positions:* 1 *Description:* *NOTE: CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR FURTHER EVALUATION* * * - *Minimum of 5* *years* experience in *Solaris UNIX system administration including Solaris 10*. - *Minimum of 4 years* experience with *VCS, Veritas Storage foundation*and other High Availability techniques in UNIX environment. - A *minimum of 3 years* experience with *Veritas NetBackup.* - Experience with Solaris Disk Suite or Solaris Volume Manager. - Shell scripting and/or Perl scripting experience. - *Experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in UNIX environment.* - Experience in EMC storage array based SAN environment. - Knowledge of Sun Entry-Level, Midrange and High-End Enterprise servers and Sun disk arrays. - Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting and troubleshooting Solaris networking services and protocols: *TCP/IP, NIS, DNS, NFS, LDAP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, HTTP.* - *Experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in UNIX environment.* - Experience in a UNIX environment with Oracle or other large-scale databases and Java application server like Websphere. - Experience in an environment where Windows systems and Solaris systems must integrate. - Be able to be on call for 24x7 support. - Candidate must possess solid analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills.** *Rate:* Negotiable depending on experience Please send me resume along with your contact details and expected rates and I'll get back to you at the earliest after reviewing the resumes sent by you.
