In this role you will be responsible for the design, simulation and implementation of advanced signal processing algorithms primarily in the areas of wireless MODEM development for use in military communication systems. Additionally, you will also be required to participate in system-level design, requirement allocations, design reviews, technical briefings, technology demonstrations, and integration support. *Responsibilities* The primary responsibilities include (1) System level design, requirement allocation and effort estimation (2) Design of Signal Processing Algorithms such as wireless MODEM using MATLAB (3) Development of DSP Software in C and Code Optimization in Assembly (3) Software Integration, debug and Test on target platform (4) Technical report writing and documentation *Qualifications* Qualifications: (1) Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and able to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A currently active U.S. security clearance is required. (2) MSEE with 5+ years or BS with 8+ years DSP software development experience (3) In-depth understanding of wireless communication theory, wireless system and DSP algorithm. (4) Expertise in wireless MODEM algorithm design using MATLAB simulation (5) Proficient in C/C++ and DSP assembly programming (TI and ADI processor families) (6) Hands-on experience in debugging real-time DSP software (7) Familiar with LAB test equipment such as scope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer etc (8) Good Technical Writing/Verbal Communication is a plus. * * .
