SharePoint Portal Support Contract Analyst

 in Bridgewater, NJ


Note: *Not* a programming position. Candidate must be able to work with a
diverse spectrum of clients with highest service levels as the goal.
Candidate will interact with Internal Team resources to coordinate efforts.
- All work to be performed onsite (unless otherwise stated by Manager - if
anything, a possibility of working off-site once the manager is comfortable
with the level of work produced)
- Location may be negotiable - Please note on submittal what location the
candidate is willing to work from (Bridgewater, NJ or New London, CT)
- 40 hour work week; possibility of working at least 10 hours OT per week
(depending on work load). All hours over 40 MUST have prior approval from
manager
- Only candidate's with excellent written and oral skills, team player
attitude, customer friendly and flexible will be considered
- BA degree is desired, but will consider equivalent experience

*SharePoint Portal Support  Contract Analyst*



The SRM Portal is a mature, semi-customized website, servicing multiple
groups across the Safety and Risk Management Department as well as external
Pfizer clients. It is the main communications and news delivery vehicle for
SRM, hosting a central repository for, and/or links to, multiple libraries
of information, reference materials, procedures, reports, etc. In addition
to housing text, audio and video materials, the portal also provides
functionality and storage for multiple request forms and their associated
workflows and databases.
*Primary Requirements:*

·         Strong Experience with Microsoft SharePoint platform

o        Experience with Microsoft products (e.g., InfoPath, Office 2007)

o        Knowledge of web-based architecture, language, and tools.

o        Knowledge of web server technology and protocols

o        Experienced and skilled in querying from relational databases

·         Communication Skills

o        Strong written and verbal communications

o        Ability to interface with both customers and technical support to
triage and resolve issues in a multi-application environment

o        Ability to drive business requirements into system change
definitions.

o        Negotiation skills with experience in a matrixed Team environment

§         Self Starter /Team Player

o        Ability to work under minimal supervision with high quality results

o        Good interpersonal skills – ability to work well in matrixed
environment


*Secondary Requirements:*

§         Experience with commercial safety/clinical databases, e.g. ARGUS,
ARISg, ClinTrace

§         Experience with document management systems (Documentum)

§         Experience with business analysis in the Drug Safety business area
with exposure to safety case processes, reporting processes and
applications.

§         Demonstrated versatility to perform a wide variety of business and
technical liaison tasks. (1-2 years experience preferred.)



*Major Duties and Responsibilities may include **(but are not limited to): *



·         Provide primary application/technical operational support for the
Safety and Risk Management Portal (SharePoint Architecture), including
routine maintenance and security oversight

·         Work with Business customers to provide reasonable and innovative
solutions to new user requests, including integration with enhanced
functionality such as workflows and security.

·         Provide training to end users, to facilitate appropriate
self-management of documentation

·         Function as part of a matrixed internal team who provide issue
tracking and triage services

·         Liaison with platform teams to ensure timely infrastructure
support and clear communications
