The Senior Web Methods / Java Developer will contribute to the design,
development, and maintenance of the applications in the EAI team and will
design and implement scalable, enterprise systems in Web Methods, Java and
other languages.
*Job Duties and Responsibilities *
* Plan for and respond to rapidly changing requirements.
* Provide 3rd level production support as part of a support rotation.
* Work hands-on and provide the technical knowledge in the design,
development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the enterprise
information systems.
* Analyze information system requirements, create designs, and provide
documentation by utilizing DISH Network specified tools and methodologies.
* Provide information system technology solutions by adhering to DISH
Network prescribed life-cycle tools and methodologies.
* May provide a variety of services ranging from day-to-day support,
maintenance, design, development, and trouble-shooting to improve, advance,
or simplify DISH Network business processes.
* May provide leadership or project management within application
development teams to deliver coordinated software solutions.
* May define standards and procedures, refine methods and techniques for
information modeling and best practices for application software development
and deployment.
*Education and Experience *
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
* 6+ years software development (at least 3 years with java)
*Skills and Qualifications *
* Experience with Web Methods Developer and Integration Server.
* Excellent programming skills in Java.
* OO Design and Development
* N-tier development.
* Strong command of database access strategies (statement, prepared
statements, caching, stored procedures).
* Interest in working for a large company and cross-functional business
contexts.
* Candidate should be able to think quickly and work independently.
* Must be a self-starter and have a client-focused approach to product
development.
For Web Methods experience, but have experience with the following:
Exp with Web Methods ver 6.5 or higher
Exp with Web Methods Broker
Exp with Integration Server
Strong command of database access strategies
