I have an Urgent Opened Position for Facets BA at Owings Mills, MD for 3-6Months Contract. *Please send resumes at [EMAIL PROTECTED] I will call you if resume suits on position* *Specific Requirements* The Business Analyst (BA) will work closely with the client business and technical teams, as well as with the client's claims clearinghouse (RealMed) to develop a complete understanding of the business and their priorities relating to RealMed requirements. The BA will have both a strong technical and business acumen with the ability to deliver technology solutions that meet the client's business needs. Additionally, the BA will be the conduit between the client's business and IT development and support teams. The BA will work with RealMed to ensure that information required for a successful implementation of the RealMed system is understood and communicated. Responsibilities: · Apply the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of technology systems development, with particular attention to the Claims domain and with HIPAA-compliant EDI files. · Collaborate with the client to identify and prioritize business requirements for the following: · Mapping, intake, processing, and related messages for the following transactions: 837/835, 270/271, 276/277/277u with related acknowledgements (e.g. 997, C1, C2). · Ability to attach English language descriptions for the internal system codes for the transactions above - this design must be rationalized across the other platforms (Nasco and FEP Thin). · Identification, specification, and testing of Edits for the transactions required to be executed prior to Facets. These edits will be performed either at RealMed or in TIBCO. No additional edits will be created in the TriZetto HIPAA Gateway. · Processing of claims attachments (this really shouldn't be much as it should look like any ACS claim from the perspective of having an image attached). · Claims Inventory/Audit/Reconciliation processing required in the new "pipeline" and how it will be rationalized with what is in CCA.Translate high-level business requirements into functional requirements. · Write detailed functional specifications including processing and design for user interface, web service and database modifications. · Create use cases to support requirements and perform limited usability testing. · Act in a liaison capacity with other departments and organizations. · Review progress and evaluate results of product development projects. Required Skills: · Bachelor's Degree – computer-related degree preferred. · 2+ years business analysis/design in a commercial software development environment. · Outstanding communication, listening negotiation, and leadership skills. · Strong interpersonal skills related to communication with customers and internal staff. · MS Office including Visio, Word and Excel. Experience Preferred: · 5+ years experience in a healthcare IT vendor environment. · Experience in defining functional and technical requirements and user experiences. · Knowledge of Health Care Payer Industry.
