Candidate Qualifications: • 5-8 years of experience with enterprise-level relational databases, advanced Oracle PL/SQL development skills with Oracle 9i or 10g PL/SQL development. • Applicant should have 4 – 7 experience developing within a Java environment and should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of OOD. • Distributed architecture concepts and development techniques is desirable. • Posses ER modeling skills with a solid understanding of relational development methodologies and best practices. • Strong relational and/or dimensional data modeling skills. • Must be able to demonstrate significant expertise in designing database-driven applications in an enterprise environment utilizing the full set of Oracle 9i and 10g capabilities. • Must understanding of full lifecycle of database development and management. • Demonstrable track record of success, excellent team-oriented skills, and self-starter and agility traits • Experience with ETL tools such as Business Objects, Abinitio, Informatica, DataStage a plus. *Integration Experience:* • Must be familiar with data integration concepts and patterns. Experience with an ETL tool is a plus. • Experience implementing Advent Geneva Portfolio Accounting solution is a major plus. Business Knowledge: Working understanding in one of the following areas is desirable: Portfolio Management, Brokerage Operations, Performance Measurement and/or Portfolio Attribution, Reference Data Management. *Project Experience:* Must have at least 2 years of experience on large scale systems integration projects. Communication Skills: Must have excellent oral and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level.
