Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.

• 8+ years of total software design and development experience.
• 5+ years of Data Modeling experience
• 5+ years of Data Warehousing data modeling
• 3+ ERwin
• 3+ years of end-to-end data modeling for application databases
• 2+ years of ODS modeling experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Oracle background

This role performs following responsibilities within established project
timelines:
• End-to-end responsibility for data modeling effort from requirements to
conceptual, logical and physical design
• Design and develop data, message and system interfaces
• Provide hands-on data modeling and development support for the projects
• Modeling tasks include
o Designing a conceptual model
o Designing a Logical model
o Designing a Physical model
o Gathering capacity requirements
o Assist in developing Data Access Plan
o Reviewing Data Access Plan
• Enforce business rules with the data model
• The data modeler will closely work with development groups and provide the
required support during testing and implementation phases
• Own the creation of supporting documentation for the modeling effort like
Enterprise Data Dictionary.
• Enforce Enterprise standards around data modeling
• Maintain data mapping from source systems to ODS to Application databases
to transport message structures to the front-end representations, to create
consistent data transformation across all applications.
• Requires little or no supervision
• Exhibits professional behavior and adheres to company policies and
procedures.
• Has good organizational and interpersonal skills
