The Database Administrator Consultant in addition to the above will be responsible for: 1. Identifying and documenting the design, functional or technical documentation of the system; 2. Creating logical data model diagrams such as entity-relationship diagrams and physical data model diagrams and 3. Implementing the data migration/conversion/transformation plan; 4. Recommending the architecture required for the system; 5. Developing and providing user support material as required; 6. Providing security protocols and documentation for the system, including passwords based on the City's requirements; 7. Providing protocols or documentations used in configuring; installing and testing of the system; 8. Developing, implement and provide protocols on capacity planning , recovering lost data; and backup and recovery plans; 9. Developing, create, implement and provide application performance plans; 10. Creating and maintaining data dictionaries by documenting data elements and their attributes; 11. Writing scripts for data base creation, manipulation, and administration; 12.
