Emphasis is on assuring operational availability of the network and minimizing down time. Technical requirements include a working knowledge of Windows 2000 Active Directory and Windows NT software, Windows 2003 server experience, and associated hardware including Cisco routers and switching hubs, and Microsoft Exchange 2000 administration and support. Maintain catalog of Operations managed objects by class of service (COS) to include all (applications, systems, databases, networks, software, and interfaces). Use and maintain monitoring and management systems that manage and automate Operations Execution including applications, systems, databases, networks, software, and interfaces. Measure and report service level performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in development of operating instructions required to migrate solutions from development to operational steady state. Maintain Internal/External audit compliance including SOX. Responsible for (24x7x365) skill based on-call support.
