Java Development leadership includes a very strong working knowledge of the overall Calypso system and the ability to provide guidance for design of custom extensions from both a functional component perspective and overall system architecture to best integrate with Calypso. This individual can lead and assist the other developers with API questions and errors. Software Configuration / Technical leadership include a very strong working knowledge of the overall Calypso system including administration, system design, and configuration. Familiarity with Calypso configuration required for Calypso features in use in Clients' International Financial Services group, including FX front to back, Matching, ERS, etc. Provides leadership around configuration management, configuration change control, assists in the effort to implement an automated configuration deploy process (i.e., Calypso's CAM tool). Ability guide the team in troubleshooting and overseeing resolution of both functional (unexpected behavior or error message) and non-functional (performance, capacity) system issues. Provide assistance with technical questions when installing new modules and upgrading the system (ERS, v10, addl trading platforms, etc.) Liaison with Calypso technical teams to get answers to specific technical questions *Qualifications* · Demonstrated Calypso experience · Existing knowledge/background in FX, FX Derivatives or finance industry desired · Outstanding communication skills · Proficient in Java/J2EE / has a development background, and is interested in having "hands-on leadership" as the primary area of responsibility · Demonstrated experience both hands-on and in a lead role · Demonstrated results producing project technical artifacts such design documentation and specifications · Professional, diplomatic, reasonable, flexible, dependable · Excellent communicator -- Thanks & Regards, P.
