I have an urgent rek for the
Position: C++ Developer
Location: IL
Duration: 6+ Month Contract.
Background:
Maintain and support existing CORBA/C++ Architecture based application,
which services Websphere-based servlet requests.
Responsibilities:
Provide server side development support (with existing architecture of
CORBA/C++) for OCC developed application.
In future participate in development effort using J2EE framework or
identified framework.
Required Skills:
5-7 years experience in a UNIX, DB2, C++, CORBA (ORBIX), PERL and Shell
Scripting, Rogue Wave.
Demonstrated experience with some type of development methodology.
Familiarity with source control tools like Subversion.
Desired Skills:
2-3 years of demonstrated development experience with Java client
application frameworks, including such implementations as Struts, JSF, etc
2-3 years Development experience using Websphere Application Server
preferred.
Experience with a consulting environment preferred
Experience in Financial Industry preferred

IBM Websphere Application Server / IHS
IBM DB2, CICS, MQSeries
Sun Solaris
ANT
Subversion
C++
XML
IBM Data Stage – ETL
