PL/SQL, HTML/DHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Basic, C/C++, Perl, shell
scripting
§ 5 years experience using Oracle RDBMS (8i, 9i, 10g) in software
development
§ Understanding and experience in the software development life
cycle (requirements gathering, prototyping, source control, defect tracking,
etc)
§ Proficient on UNIX/Linux operating systems
§ Excellent communication, personal and organizational skills
§ Experience with some of the following systems / solutions /
toolkits: Oracle, BEA Weblogic, ActivityBase, Assay Explorer, ISIS Host,
chemical cartridges (Daylight, JChem, ISIS Direct, CambridgeSoft), Spotfire,
Pipeline Pilot, Apache Jakarta tools (Ant, Log4j, Commons, Tomcat, POI, Net,
etc.), Curve Fitting tools (Xlfit, Prism, SigmaPlot), Windows, MS Office,
Visio, Erwin
§ Knowledge and understanding of the following web specifications:
HTTP, XML, DOM2, CSS, HTML, Servlet / JSP, TCP/IP, AJAX
§ Good understanding and knowledge of scientific drug discovery
processes (compound synthesis, assays, animal studies)
