They are an 8 node cluster -Email Gateway troubleshooting experience -Mail Flow troubleshooting -MUST have experience with 10k+ Users (CHE is 40k) -Windows Server Knowledge DNS, WINS, DHCP -Enterprise Server experience with 60-100 servers (that's what CHE is) -Wants Local person -Strong Documentation skills The System Administrator II is responsible for the, maintenance and support of Enterprise Active Directory / Messaging environments and related technologies, such as, SMTP, POP, OWA, SMTP Gateway products, email encryption, Single Sign On, and Anti-Virus. The System Administrator II assists in the design and implementation of next generation systems that support the CHE Messaging, Directory services, Single Sign On and related technology infrastructures. Provides advanced support for Intel and Linux based operating system. Is responsible for networking technologies, such as, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS Subnets, and Active Directory routing. Supports at a very experienced level products in one or more of the following areas of the System Administration Team: Client Server Services; UNIX, SAN and Data Protection; Remote Access; Database Administration; Web Services; and Active Directory and Messaging. *Education Requirements* Associate Degree or equivalent training and experience level required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. MCSE preferred. *Required Experience* Five to seven years experience in a high availability enterprise environment supporting Active Directory, Exchange, Single Sign On and related technologies in a 15,000+ user environment. Extensive knowledge (three or more years experience with) of one or more of the following areas: Directory and Messaging, Messaging gateway products such as TrenMicro and IronPort supporting anti-virus, Spam, email encryption and content filtering. Experience in OS installation, management and trouble shooting of HP/Compaq/Dell Servers. Strong understanding of the variety of authentication methods including, basic authentication, forms-based single sign-on, client side certificate and mutual authentication. Experience with Sentillion Single Sign on a plus. Experience with at least one of the following development environments/languages: J2EE, Java, Javascript, .net, or C#. Technical architecture experience integrating identity and access management software into production infrastructure and applications. Hands on experience with creating groups, access control lists, and protected object policies to manage the authentication and authorization of users. Experience working with project teams and developer to design and implement new solutions. Knowledge of resources available to provide technical specs and quotes for various proposals. Knowledge of applicable data retention practices. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Flexibility to work in a 24x7 environment oriented towards a zero downtime target. *Skills:* Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Able to present to groups and executives effectively in user-friendly language. Good interpersonal relationship skills. Ability to conduct research into applicable hardware / software issues, standards, and products. Ability to learn new skills quickly in a fast paced environment. Keen attention to detail. Possesses a probing mind and can get to the "root cause" of problem quickly and begin problem resolution. Understands bigger picture and what is affected by which decision is made.
