Thanks *Location: NYC* *Type of Position: 5 month Contract* *Job Title: Project Manager* *No of Openings 1* *Max Pay Rate: $60.00* PROJECT MANAGER Job Description – Duties and Responsibilities The Project Manager will be part of the PSG Program Management team and will be responsible for driving sales closure, planning and managing numerous client projects, and providing regular reports and operational support to a lead Project Manager. Duties and responsibilities include: • Assist Sales in reviewing invoices, usage, contracts, generating side-by-side product comparisons, drafting proposals and project plans for large number of client product migrations • Manage execution of client product migrations to achieve agreed business goals including managing clients and internal Thomson Reuters groups to plan and execute migrations including: Sales hand-off, order processing, client kick-off and weekly meetings, infrastructure deployment (if required) , training, user entitlements via MIS systems, issue escalations etc. • Meet agreed project targets, demonstrating urgency, drive, energy and enthusiasm. • Be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision while balancing competing priorities. • Be the driver for resolving issues and escalating as appropriate • Provide accurate and timely management reporting and project documentation • Have good verbal & written communication skills and a proven ability to learn quickly. • Take responsibility for the timeliness and quality of his/her own work. • Perform other assignments as required. Job Specifications – Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience • 5+ years project management experience. • Knowledge of financial markets is a requirement • Experience with market data products – quotes, news, charts is a requirement • Experience in client account administration or strong client skills is a requirement • Ability to understand market data content solutions/packages/modules/entitlements • Experience in using Microsoft Excel to manipulate spreadsheets and produce management reports • PMI/PMP certification preferred • Attention to detail is very important. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Experience in using other Microsoft Office tools – Word, Project. • Experience with Thomson Reuters products and networks a plus • Knowledge of Thomson Reuters customers' business drivers a plus Candidates MUST have all four of the below skill sets.
