Thanks I have up to 6 Content (ETL) Testers needed at Thomson Reuters in Eagan, MN. These are very specific testing spots so most testers WILL NOT be a fit. You will have to screen your candidates closely. I have 6 people working in this group so with the right candidates, we can get the hires. I need people who are very strong backend testers testing content NOT application testers. Please read this whole email. I know there is alot of info but I am trying to help you find the right candidates. DO NOT SEND JUST ANY QA CANDIDATE. YOU HAVE TO SCREEN THEM FIRST. VERY FEW WILL FIT THIS POSITION. Here are must have skills: Candidates need: * Informatica * ETL * Have tested mappings * Java coding experience (if light, must have UNIX shell scripting) * UNIX Shell scripting is a must * Solid SQL experience, more than just working with the DBAs * Agile is a plus * Lead exp is very helpful * * * At least 4 year experience working with databases in a variety of roles. * Strong oracle database knowledge. * Experience working with large data sets. * Flexibility in approach. Equal ability to work on the technical and non-technical aspects of backend content validation. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must have the ability to present solutions to technical and non-technical project members. * Experience working in an agile development process is a plus. * Strong experience in Unix platform. * Experience with data quality analysis and SQL skills. If they don't have Java coding exp they need to be even more senior. Here are some things to ask and look for in resumes: * Validated the source database, target database, data extraction, data transformation and data loading * Created UNIX shell scripts to access data and move data from Production to Development. * Used to test different Transformations to move data to the Staging area, ODS and finally Target Data base using Informatica Designer. * Tested Informatica Mappings and worked with staging area to validate the data with SQL Queries. * Extensively worked using DDL and DML Statements * Reviewed and tested Informatica ETL code, wrote test plans.
