First, is there a list of knows bugs for Steve Byrne's JDK ports?
If this one's already been reported, I want to avoid duplicating
bug reports again.
Peter,
Thanks for the report.
I don't know if this has been addressed. Steve Byrne did just post
that v2-test is available with *some* AWT improvements. See
http://www.blackdown.org/~sbb/1.1.6/v2-test.
Karl Asha has setup a Jitterbug problem-report form at
http://www.blackdown.org/cgi-bin/jdk. We're still experimenting,
but it's the beginning of a more formal process.
I'm not sure if this is a JDK or Swing bug...
We invite you to duplicate your effort and resubmit :) And thanks for
the report; the effort is much appreciated. Please consider pasting in
commented Java classes that elicit the problems in the space provided
on the Jitterbug form.
There are more guidelines on bug submissions in section 4 of the FAQ:
"Troubleshooting the Blackdown JDK on Linux." It's available at either
of the following two links, the latter being the latest:
http://www.blackdown.org/java-linux/docs/faq/FAQ-java-linux.html
http://www.place.org/~stevemw/java/FAQ/FAQ-java-linux.html

Does anyone know a mailinglist dealing with Java in general?
There's a list of other Java FAQs in section section 6 of the FAQ,
which may lead you to what you want.
