Hi Dustin:

It is really terrible to develop something in a pico.  You should try vi
or emacs.  Both are very powerful editor tools.  Here is a page about JDE,
it is for emacs.  Just following the instruction to install.  It is a
great tool and much better than Visual J++ and Visual Cafe.  Take a look
at: http://sunsite.auc.dk/jde/

You can also try XEmacs (even better than Emacs). ftp.xemacs.org

BTW, you should have a good .emacs startup file to take advantage of
emacs.
Please check the emacs faq site for an example.

Don't try pico, it is not much better Microsoft Notepad or MS-DOS edit
tool
