When trying to run java, we receive the following message:
/usr/jdk1.1.6/bin/../bin/i586/green_threads/java: No such file or
directory
That file does exist in that directory and permissions are not an issue.
Can you suggest anything?
I got this error with jdk1.1.5 when I downloaded the wrong version of
the compiler (i.e., I took the glibc compiler instead of the libc5
version). The problem vanished when I took the correct version.
