All,

I am 99% certain that this is the same bug that I reported as bug number 5 on the
Java-Linux bug parade.
In particular see my most recent comments towards the end re: Swing. It occurs for
me when using
mwm or dtwn on a remote (AIX) machine.

I too saw this appear when JDK116 came out, I think because of the performance
improvements that
came with 116, and this is timing related.
