Hi, I have install the rpm package (jdk-sbb-1.1.6-4a.glibc.i386.rpm) from redhat's ftp on my rh5.1 system but have problem running classes. I am very now to this environment so any help would be greatly appreciated. I know that you have to setup the classpath option but how do I do that? I was trying to run the HelloWorld class with :- java -classpath \home\java HelloWorld but encounter the following error :- Unable to initialize threads : cannot find class java/lang/Thread Please advice Regards
