More than likely, you still have Kaffe installed, and it is the kaffe
complier you are running. Kaffe is installs the following files:

/usr/bin/appletviewer
/usr/bin/jar
/usr/bin/javac
/usr/bin/javadoc
/usr/bin/javakey
/usr/bin/javap
/usr/bin/jdb
/usr/bin/kaffe

try removing kaffe (rpm -e kaffe) and everything should work fine.

todd

Things you would never know without the movies:

If being chased through town, you can usually take cover in a
passing St. Patrick's Day parade - at any time of the year.
